About

Kearney Park spreads across 225 acres seven miles west of downtown Fresno, the former Chateau Fresno estate that raisin baron M. Theo Kearney began building in 1892. Rudolph Ulrich laid out the landscape, and the palm-lined 11-mile Kearney Boulevard was its private approach road. Entry is $5 per vehicle. The Kearney Mansion Museum inside the park runs separate $10 guided tours Friday through Sunday, and the park hosts the annual Civil War re-enactment, weddings, and large group picnics.
