About
The San Joaquin River Parkway's River Center at 11605 Old Friant Rd is the front door to Fresno's riverside trail system. The restored 1890s ranch house grounds are free, with a rose garden, orchard, and the half-mile Hidden Homes kids trail lined with oversized animal homes. The paved Lewis S. Eaton Trail runs about 4 to 5 miles along the river between the center and Woodward Park, with a 22-mile build-out planned. Grounds open weekdays 8 AM to 5 PM and weekends 8 AM to 3 PM; the Ranch House store runs weekends only and closes in January.
